ShrinkSafe ID Bands help reduce medication errors involving paralytic agents, High Alert, concentrated and look-alike meds by forcing an additional check of high-risk medications to ensure accuracy and safety.
Easily applied to various sized vials, it only takes a quick exposure to heat to shrink the ShrinkSafe band to the vial’s shape. Yet all ShrinkSafe bands still permit easy viewing of the manufacturer’s label. To dispense your med, the band’s pull-tab is peeled from the bottle and the medication is ready to use.
Bright Orange bands have been specifically designed for 10 ml bottles containing High Alert Paralytic Agents. Sharp Green bands for concentrated High Alert medication, drugs requiring further dilution prior to administration or highlighting electrolytes dispensed in specialized care settings (dialysis, OR, etc.). 2 sizes of CLEAR bands are also available for virtually all types of IV bottles and vials...providing access to entire manufacturer's labeling.
