USING EPS^® SHRINKSAFE^® BANDS

Heat Gun Method - with our without trays

Without Tray:
1.) Place SHRINKSAFE Band on vial so medication label is clearly visible.
2.) Aim heat gun at vials, approximately 6 - 10 inches away at lower settings (300-500 degrees F) for 1 - 2 seconds. If necessary, turn vials 180 degrees and aim heat gun again at vials to complete the shrinking process.

With Tray:
1.) Place SHRINKSAFE Band on vial so medication label is clearly visible.
2.) Line up vials along channels in tray. Up to 8 vials may lay in the tray at one time.
3.) Aim heat gun at vials, approximately 6 - 10 inches away at lower settings (300-500 degrees F) for 1 - 2 seconds. If necessary, turn vials 180 degrees in tray and aim heat gun again at vials to complete the shrinking process.

Oven Method - with trays

Using SHRINKSAFE Oven
1.) Pre-heat oven for approximately 15 minutes at 300 degrees F.
2.) Place SHRINKSAFE Band on vial so medication label is clearly visible.
3.) Line up vials along channels in tray. Up to 8 vials can be wrapped at one time.
4.) Place tray containing vials on oven’s conveyor belt.
5.) Vials and trays will move through the oven in approximately 7 - 10 seconds, shrinking the bands on vials.
6.) After passing through oven, remove tray and vials from conveyor belt.
7.) Wrapped bottles are ready for dispensing from Pharmacy.
