First, you’ll need to order the MD3750 which comprises both our Fil-Form^® “32” Template and Roll-E-ZY^® Press Piece^® .

The MD3750 costs $175.00 U.S. and is a 1-time purchase…unless you need to equip other facilities, satellites, etc. within your pharmacy organization. The Fil-Form template is necessary to prevent crushing the Medi-Cup^® “32” Blisters and possibly the medication contained in them. In addition, the Fil-Form template keeps the blisters in place when aligning and applying your Lid-Label^® “32” Covers on them. And, in conjunction with the blister sheets, the Fil-Form template provides a clean surface for dispensing your medication, reducing the potential for medication cross-contamination.

The Roll-E-ZY Press Piece ensures a positive, uniform seal between labels and blisters.

Without these two units, we cannot guarantee the integrity of the seal.

We’re pleased to provide software for printing our Lid-Label “32” Covers. The MILT 32 by Medi-Dose (MILT 32) (Medi-Dose Information Labeling Technology) software was designed not only to print our LaserLabel Lid-Label “32”Covers with the pertinent medication information your require (including bar coding) but also to provide an elementary pharmacy and nursing home management program for the facilities you are servicing. MILT 32, while not absolutely essential to using the Medi-Dose “32” system, will certainly make the job of identification significantly easier. Whether or not you’re bar coding your medication packages, we strongly recommend its purchase and use.

Among its many features, MILT 32 lets you print 6 lines of free-floating text with either 17 or 25 characters per line. If desired, you can print a bar code on each individual Lid-Label “32” Cover complete with 4 lines of free-floating text at either 17 or 25 characters per line. Plus the program will print the packager’s initials and beyond-use (expiration) dating information as well. The software also maintains packaging logs, providing you a complete record of what was packaged, who packaged it and when it was done. In addition, MILT 32 contains field locking capability to preserve the integrity of your data and dynamic formatting letting you emphasize portions of a medication’s name to highlight your personnel’s and your patient’s awareness.

But, in addition, MILT 32 gives you the ability, if you wish, to maintain databases of the:

---facilities you’re servicing
---residents in those facilities
---physicians caring for those residents
---insurance companies responsible for payment and reimbursement of the medications dispensed to those residents

In addition, you can:

---print MAR reports by facility or by individual residents within each facility
---print Billing reports by insurance type so you’ll know how much to submit for each resident in each facility
---denote which medications are generic/brand, legend/controlled, or a drug of restraint
---call attention to specific medication side effects to alert nursing personnel
---print and maintain special MAR notes and Memo Fields for extra information above and beyond that which appears in the standard MILT 32 packaging log.

After you’ve made your initial purchase of the Fil-Form “32” Template, Roll-E-ZY Press Piece and MILT 32 software, you won’t need to purchase them again. Your repeat orders need only be for blisters and labels. We’ve listed your options for both items below.

We’re pleased to offer 5 different options of Medi-Cup Blister Sheets to package your medication. Whatever degree of protection you need, “we’ve got you covered”. They’re available with ultraviolet inhibitance; in Mini, Standard or Deep sizes; and in 6-month or 1-year beyond-use dating (Medi-Cup PLUS “32” ) styles. Our minimum order is just 3,200 doses (100 sheets). If you’d like, you can mix styles to reach the 3,200-dose quantity. Pricing is as follows:

Depending on your printer, you’ll need either our LaserLabel^® Lid-Label “32” Covers or our Continuous Feed “32” Lid-Label Covers.

The LaserLabel Lid-Label Covers work with either a laser or an ink jet printer and are available with our standard Blue circle pattern. Our MILT 32 software, and all subsequent enhancements made to the program, will only work with these labels.

We recommend laser printers if you intend to print bar codes, regardless of whether you’re using the Medi-Dose system or printing a bar code on any other surface. As much as we like both laser and ink jet printers when printing general alpha/numeric text on our LaserLabel Lid-Label “32” Covers, we unfortunately, can’t recommend them if you intend to use bar codes. The legibility of your bar codes and their ability (or lack thereof) to be read by scanners may become an issue. This is due to the extremely small lines contained in some bar codes. Ink jet printers use ink (a liquid) which can and often will migrate through the fibers of the paper, making the codes unreadable. In addition, ink requires time to dry. If the label or form is used before the ink has dried, the potential for smearing increases dramatically. Consequently, your scanner may not be able to read the code. If you wish to print bar codes, please consider using a laser printer (which fuses toner to the paper) for crisper output and our LaserLabel Lid-Label “32” Cover Sheets.

Our Continuous Feed Lid-Label Covers (which were originally designed for use with dot matrix printers or memory typewriters) are stocked in either Blue or Orange.

Like the blisters, our minimum order for the labels is 3,200 doses. And, you can mix colors and styles to reach the 3,200-dose quantity. Pricing is as follows:
