Our NeedleSafe II needle uncapper/recapper and syringe holder minimizes the risk of needle stick injury to all dispensing and administering personnel. It requires only a single hand for uncapping and recapping procedures.
Complying with all OSHA regulations, NeedleSafe II has a Universal Gripper Core so it can even hold phlebotomy tubes and catheter caps. It’s durable and reusable...reducing medication waste and its associated disposal costs. NeedleSafe II occupies very little workspace.
It’s easily mounted on virtually any surface...horizontal or vertical. You can place one at each patient’s bedside or on every medication cart.
CLEANING: If your NeedleSafe II stops working we recommend you clean the gripper core with a cotton tip applicator that has been soaked with alcohol, detergent or degreaser. The uncapping function is usually restored by this method. When cleaning does not work, or if the gripper core is visibly worn, then the NeedSafe II should be replaced.
