For more than 49 years, Medi-Dose/EPS has been working with pharmacists and health care professionals to design and support cost-effective products solving the specific needs of their practices. Medi-Dose/EPS has become an industry leader in unit dose systems, bar coding products and pharmacy & nursing supply because our products are designed and tested with the help of professionals like you, assuring the solutions we create will solve your needs.
 History: Medi-Dose/EPS was founded when Milton Braverman, a former pharmaceutical company Territory Manager, saw the need for inexpensive, manual unit dose packaging allowing a hospital to convert from traditional dispensing. He developed the Medi-Dose System to package, handle and dispense predetermined amounts of medication so they would be accessible for one regular dose.
Because of the continued success of the Medi-Dose System, Medi-Dose/EPS expanded its product line to include the TampAlerT System offering tamper-evident liquid packaging, without the need for heat tunnels and accessory sealing equipment, and a full line of supplies and disposable products designed specifically for the pharmacy and health care professional.

Community Involvement: As a healthcare product company, we’re cognizant of how our products are used and how they impact patients. We’re always visiting hospitals on behalf of our sales efforts but we also see first-hand how families are affected when friends and loved ones are patients. We’re not immune to this---for us, it’s more than just business…it’s personal.
Employees of Medi-Dose/EPS are deeply involved in a number of charitable endeavors…and we’re glad that they are also involved staying in shape too! We encourage our employees to become involved and we take part when we can to help. We feel the great singer and songwriter Harry Chapin said it best…“When in doubt, do something!”
 Every year, employees of Medi-Dose/EPS participate in and help organize the American Cancer Society’s Philadelphia Bike-A-Thon. This event raises both awareness and funds for cancer research. “Team Medi-Dose” was formed as a riding and fund raising group to help ACS “pedal a way to a cure.” Last year’s fund raising efforts were our best ever…and we’re hoping to top that next year! In addition, we sponsor the Milton Braverman Award to honor a boy or girl who’s fighting cancer and is active in riding, fundraising or volunteering for Bike-A-Thon.
Members of Team Medi-Dose have also ridden in and raised funds each year for the Livestrong Challenge (fighting cancer) and the Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Bike-to-the-Bay events.
 We’re also active in both the annual American Heart Association’s Delaware Walk-A-Thon and the yearly Philly AIDS Walk. We formed both family and corporate teams (Team Amanda for the American Heart Association Walk and another Team Medi-Dose for the AIDS Walk) to raise money for those afflicted with these deadly diseases. We’ve seen how families of every “walk of life” can be affected and we thought we would put our “feet and wallets where our mouths are”.
